Job Description
A leader in the centrifugal casting and finish machining of high grade, centrifugally cast ferrous and non-ferrous product has immediate needs for 4 Hand Tool Machine Operators. Will train the right candidate for these temp to hire opportunities.
Shifts and Payrates:- $17.00 per hr.
- 1st and 2nd shifts available. Trained on 1st shift and then will be moved to 3pm-1am.
- OT available paid at time and a half
- Medical benefits, Dental and Eye
Requirements:- Must have a good mechanical aptitude
- Must pass drug screening
- Must have High School Diploma / GED
- Must be able to read a tape measure and proficient in shop mathematics
- Experience in set-up machines is a bonus.
- Knowledge of machines and materials
- Good communication
- Able to lift / carry up to 75 lbs and can stand long periods of time
- Must adhere to required PPE
- Able to read engineering drawings and schematics is a plus
- Ability to work within close tolerances
- Able to use computer and the programs need to run machine
- Must have steel toed boots
