Industrial Mechanic/Millwright 2 Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Technician ensures that the equipment is operating effectively and is properly maintained. This employee will also ensure that breakdowns are repaired and all preventive and scheduled maintenance duties are completed on time.
Industrial Mechanic/Millwright 2 Skills:
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production and utility equipment.
- Complete preventive maintenance requirements on motors, conveyor systems, production, and utility machines by following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer' s instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Perform emergency repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.
- Support Engineering during new projects and process improvement activities.
- Complying with all procedures, rules and regulations. Follow OSHA standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Industrial Mechanic/Millwright 2 Requirements:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- PLC experience needed. No programming.
- 2 year(s) of relevant work experience
- Must be proficient w mechanical and/or electrical industrial maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical control systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Be available to diagnose defects and repair a variety of equipment and vehicles.
- Very good mechanical and electrical skills
- Legally eligible to work in the US.
- Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen.
