Production Positions Open in Crafton Area! $17 per hour!

- Dayshift
- $18 / hour

Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing tasks on the production line.
- Manage and conduct checks on the production line as each order is processed.
- Remove blocks (machine handles) from lenses.
- Wash manufactured lenses after completion to prepare for coating or cutting.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure each order is correct.
- Examine finished lenses for defects, ensuring they meet the required prescription and quality standards.
- Perform other tasks at several different production stations as needed in order to maintain acceptable job flow.
- Support Customer Service and Shipping as needed.
- Experience in optometry or manufacturing ideal but not required
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand and/or walk in lab for upwards of 8 hours a day.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and bend, twist and crouch as needed.
- Committed to collaboration and teamwork.
- Interest in cross training in other departments and advancing career
- Work is performed primarily in an optical laboratory setting.
- Environment often fast-paced, deadline oriented.
- May work alone in lab as necessary or with partner.
- May be working primarily with small manual tools (screwdriver, pliers, etc.), lenses and automated laboratory equipment.
- Highly collaborative working environment.
- Opportunities to advance career after learning new skills.
